UKCoRR wins 2011 Jason Farradane Award

UKeiG has awarded the 2011 Jason Farradane Award to the UK Council of Research Repositories (UKCoRR).


UKCoRR is a professional organisation for people working as Open Access repository managers and administrators.   Founded in 2007, UKCoRR provides a collective voice for its members when communicating with publishers, funding councils and other community stakeholders.

The Jason Farradane Award is made in recognition of 'an outstanding contribution to the information profession...'  Previous winners include Michael Koenig and the University of Warwick Library's Learning Grid.
