UK-based social media company TweetDeck is reported to be close to a £30m (£19m) takeover deal with US-based UberMedia.
TweetDeck, which has been downloaded by 20 million people since it launched in 2008, helps users manage social networking sites.
California-based UberMedia, has recently acquired other Twitter tools and services, including EchoFon and UberTwitter.
