Oxfam archive goes to Oxford

Oxfam has donated 70 years of archive material to the Bodleian Library in Oxford.

The charity Oxfam, which began life in Oxford in the 1940s, has donated 10,000 boxes of materials - including photographs, posters, film, video and oral histories - to the Bodleian Library in Oxford.

The Wellcome Trust has awarded the Bodleian with a grant to assist the cataloguing of the archive which it is hoped will become an essential resource for scholars.
