As previously reported, the EU has ruled that e-books are liable to higher taxes than physical books.
Now the culture ministers of four countries have criticised the ruling and are pushing for a revision of the tax laws.
Ministers representing France, Germany, Italy and Poland have issued a statement stating that "…a book is a book – no matter the form".
