The extension of the On Demand document supply service aims to support researchers and scientists in countries that the United Nations has classified as 'least developed'.
The British Library worked with publishers and other stakeholders to offer the document supply service on the same basis as that which is offered to UK institutions.
One of the Library’s core aims is the advancement of knowledge throughout the world, and the extension of the document supply service is intended to support scientists and researchers in countries which have limited access to research materials.
