Altmetric data on SpringerLink

Springer has announced that every article published on SpringerLink now includes altmetrics.

The data is provided by Altmetric and tracks and analyses online activity based on how the article is being shared and discussed.  Altmetric data goes beyond simple citation analysis and seeks to better measure how an article is being used and discussed.
