The CLOCKSS Archive Announces the Participation of Seven New Publishers in Its Digital Preservation Archive

New participants: Seismological Society of America, Mineralogical Society of America, Geological Society of London, Centro de Filosofia da Universidade de Lisboa (CFUL), Botanical Society of America, Social Behavior and Personality and IP Publishing Ltd.

Seismological Society of America
The Seismological Society of America (SSA) is an international scientific society devoted to the advancement of seismology and the understanding of earthquakes for the benefit of society. SSA publishes two bi-monthly peer-reviewed journals; The Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America and Seismological Research Letters. Both journals are available online through GeoScience World.

Mineralogical Society of America
The Mineralogical Society of America (MSA) was founded in 1919 for the advancement of mineralogy, crystallography, geochemistry, petrology, and promotion of their uses in other sciences, industry, and the arts. It encourages fundamental research about natural materials; supports the teaching of mineralogical concepts and procedures; and attempts to raise the scientific literacy of society with respect to issues involving mineralogy in the widest sense. The Society encourages the
preservation of mineral collections, displays, mineral localities, type minerals and scientific data. MSA represents the United States internationally with regard to the science of mineralogy.

Geological Society of London
The Geological Society of London was founded in 1807. It is the UK national society for geoscience, and the oldest geological society in the world. The Society provides a wide range of professional and scientific support to over 10,000 Fellows (members), about 2,000 of whom live overseas. More than 2,000 Fellows are also Chartered Geologists. As well as
boasting one of the most important geological libraries in the world, the Geological Society is a global leader in Earth science publishing, and is renowned for its cutting edge science meetings. It is a vital forum in which Earth scientists from a broad spectrum of disciplines and environments can exchange ideas, and is an important communicator of geoscience to government, media, those in education and the broader public.

Centro de Filosofia da Universidade de Lisboa (CFUL)
Founded in 1989 and based in the Faculty of Arts, University of Lisbon, the Centre for Philosophy, University of Lisbon (CFUL) currently has more than a hundred researchers and collaborators, and research activity has developed in philosophy since 1994, when it was formally recognized as I&D FCT.

Botanical Society of America
Founded in 1893, the Botanical Society of America (BSA) is a "not-for-profit" 501 (c) (3) membership society whose mission is to promote botany, the field of basic science dealing with the study and inquiry into the form, function, development, diversity, reproduction, evolution, and uses of plants and their interactions within the biosphere. To accomplish this mission, the objectives of The Society are to: sustain and provide improved formal and informal education about plants; encourage basic plant research; provide expertise, direction, and position statements concerning plants and ecosystems; and foster communication within the professional botanical community, and between botanists and the rest of humankind through publications, meetings, and committees.

Social Behavior and Personality was founded in 1973, and publishes papers on all aspects of social, personality, and developmental psychology. SBP Journal has a distinguished Board of Consulting Editors and works with thousands
