Filmmaker Magazine Launches Modern Digital Archive Available For Subscription
Filmmaker, a publication of The Gotham Film & Media Institute, has digitised its archive of print issues in collaboration with publisher services company, Exact Editions. Individuals and institutions can now subscribe for fully-searchable access to over 60 issues, dating back to 2005, with new issues published four times a year.
Brooklyn-based Filmmaker is a publication by, for and about independent filmmakers. The modern archive includes in-depth interviews with leading filmmakers of the era from Quentin Tarantino to Kelly Reichardt to Barry Jenkins, along with articles chronicling the growth and transformation of independent film in real time.
Institutional subscription features provided by the Exact Editions platform provide institutions with usage reports, MARC Records and KBART data. The advanced search function allows professors, academics, and students alike to search for specific keywords and articles across the whole archive.
