UK research councils adopt Researchfish

Move aims to standardise research output capture.

The UK’s seven research councils fund £4.5bn of research every year.  The adoption of Researchfish aims to standardise the collection of research outputs and data and to support cross sector advances.

Researchfish connects researchers with their funding bodies and universities and will help funders monitor the value of their funding beyond the lifetime of a grant.  It will provide a single, accurate point of data entry to researchers who may need to communicate to many agencies.
