UK: FutureLearn launched to offer MOOCs

Platform to offer MOOCs to students around the world.

FutureLearn, which is owned by the Open University, has partnered with more than 20 universities to offer MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) to students around the world.

The free online courses can be accessed by mobile phones as well as computers. Monash University in Australia, Trinity College, Dublin (Ireland) and several UK universities are offering a range of free, high quality online courses.

23% of people who start courses go on to complete the majority of steps and all the assessments.
