Thomson Reuters is to expand its operations in Canada and will create a new tech centre in Toronto. It’s estimated that up to 1500 new jobs will be created. As part of the move, the company’s CEO and CFO will be relocating from the US.
The new tech centre will focus on emerging skills including user experience, visualisation and cloud development.
Thomson Reuters stated "We applaud the Canadian federal, provincial and municipal governments for making jobs, innovation and the knowledge economy a top priority …".
