The future of Facebook

Facebook’s F8 Developer Conference in San Francisco has just finished.  A number of developments have been announced as well as more information on the social network’s ten year plan.

• A new tool is being rolled out to make it easier for users to create profile videos.
• Extended functionality for the ‘Save posts for later’ option
• A new video rights manager tool to help combat ‘freebooting’

Facebook’s ten-year roadmap features AI, Virtual Reality and Connectivity, including drones and Satellites.
