The EU's Digital Agenda focuses on the internet's potential to drive economic growth and innovation.

Neelie Kroes, the vice president for the EC's Digital Agenda, has spoken about how the internet needs to remain an open platform if it is drive economic growth and innovation.

Speaking at the OECD, Kroes warned against fragmenting the internet along national borders.
