The Call for Speakers has been announced for Taxonomy Boot Camp London, a new conference covering all aspects of taxonomy which will take place on 18 & 19 October alongside Internet Librarian International.
Taxonomy Boot Camp London will be the UK’s only dedicated conference for taxonomies and will help delegates learn practical approaches to improving their taxonomy development and implementation skills.
More and more organisations are recognising the value of taxonomies to drive their data, content and information processes. The conference will cover a range of skillsets and applications with sessions designed for those brand new to taxonomies, as well as seasoned taxonomists. It will be chaired by taxonomy, metadata and search consultant Helen Lippell.
The Call for Speakers is now open and the submissions deadline is 10 May 2016.
