Snapchat has been facing stiff competition from Instagram. While Instagram is open to the web, Snapchat has stayed ‘mobile’, offering no web interface. However, announced changes to Snapchat include a new sharing feature that will allow users to share Snapchat Stories via the web.
The feature will launch with Snapchat’s discover media partners. Shared Official Stories will be available on the web for 24 hours and Our Stories and Search Stories will be available for 30 days.
