Russian search engine Yandex floated on Nasdaq

Shares in Russia's leading search engine surge in first day of trading.

Yandex, which generates over 64% of all Russia's search traffic, started trading at an offer price of $25 and surged during the first day of trading.

The flotation raised $1.3 billion.
