Research highlights 'the App gap'

FreePint has published two research reports that explore corporate and individual attitudes to mobile content.


The research shows that enterprises are lagging behind individuals when it comes to adopting mobile content.  

In interviews with 27 information managers, a range of organisational barriers were identified to the adoption of mobile content, including security and infrastructure challenges as well as organisational culture.   

Knowledge workers in the same organisations were asked to complete a survey about how they use, and would like to use, their mobile devices.  Many said they were using their own personal devices rather than ones provided by their company.
