ProQuest is to acquire Ebook Library (EBL).
EBL, which was founded in 2004, pioneered many new services for the library market and currently offers over 300,000 e-books to academic, research and other libraries around the world.
For ProQuest the acquisition will further its goal of enabling seamless content discovery across formats.
