OUP announces read and publish deal

Oxford University Press has reached agreement with Iowa State University Library.

Oxford University Press (OUP) has announced it has reached an agreement (in principle) with the Iowa State University.  This is its first read/publish deal outside of Europe.

The deal should be finalised by the end of 2019. It includes access to OUP’s full journal collection and allows researchers at the university to publish their articles via OA immediately upon publication in an OUP journal.

"Iowa State is committed to sharing the knowledge it creates with Iowa and the rest of the world. Our new open access agreement with Oxford, our largest to date, will help us to do exactly that. We are very excited about this new direction in our relationship with OUP and look forward to seeing its impact on the Iowa State community."
