Michael Palin, actor, traveller and writer has donated the archive covering the years 1965 to 1987.
The collection features 50 ‘Python Notebooks’ containing drafts and working material relating to his writing for Monty Python.
Also included are personal diaries and material related to his other film, television and literary projects.
