JISC's ambitions for the future

JISC reveals its ambitions for its ongoing role in driving innovation in UK education and research.


JISC, the organisation that drives innovation in research and education in the UK, has outlined its plans for 2013 and beyond.

This week, JISC has become a registered charity with a new board of non-executive directors and trustees.  The vision for JISC includes:

  • Drive digital engagement
  • Provide leadership in technology aided learning to ensure the UK stays at the forefront of international good practice
  • Trusted expert, offering advice and guidance to JISC's customers
  • Close collaboration with customers
  • Provide large scale services
