International Open Access week aims to help the academic and research community learn about the benefits of Open Access and to provide the platform for lessons learned to be shared with colleagues.
The week begins with the World Bank/SPARC kick-off event in Washington DC which will be webcast and which will launch events around the world. A calendar of events can be found here.
The website also features promotional material, discussion forums and other resources for librarians, publishers, researchers and funders.
