Google appeals EU antitrust fine

Google is to appeal EU antitrust fine.

Google is to appeal the €1.49 billion fine the EU charged against it earlier this year.

Unsurprisingly, Google is to appeal the €1.49 billion ($1.7 billion) fine set by the European Commission in March this year.

The fine came about after European antitrust officials found that Google had used restrictive practices in its AdSense advertising business.

The Commission has stated that it will defend its decision in court.
