The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) has announced that nominations for the 2012 Digital Preservation Award are open.
The Awards, held biennially, celebrate the organisations and individuals who are making a significant contribution to ensuring long-term access to digital data.
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the founding of the DPC, four prizes will be awarded this year, including a special 'decennial prize' for the outstanding contribution to digital preservation over the last decade.
