Denmark: Facebook to build green data centre

Facebook has announced it plans to build a new data centre in Odense.

The centre will create at least 150 jobs in Denmark's third largest city.

This will be the third data centre to be built outside of the USA. It will be powered entirely by renewable energy.

Denmark has been particularly successful in attracting foreign investment.  Apple is building a data centre in Viborg.
