CUP partnership to produce medical apps

Apps will deliver portable versions of medical text books.


The partnership announced between Cambridge University Press and GYLO will create apps from key medical texts. Users will be able to personalise the text by adding bookmarks and notes. 

The first apps, for iPhones, iPod Touches and iPads, are scheduled to be released in June 2011.

It is anticipated that a large number of CUP's medical books will be conversted into digial versions in the next few years.
