The British Library has agreed a framework licence with the International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers (STM).
The framework governs the supply of copies of articles from the BL's document supply service to non-commercial end users ouside the UK (and is distinct from the BL's service of document delivery for commercial purposes).
The UK Publishers Association is also recommending the framework licence agreement to its members.
The new framework licence agreement will be launched on 1 January 2012.
