Association of Arab Universities and Elsevier announce Arab Journals Platform

Open network will be published on Digital Commons and aims to raise visibility and improve discoverability.

The Arab Journals Platform will launch later this year and will feature 100 journals in its initial phase. The plan is to grow the content to over 1000+ titles.

The Arab Journals Platform aims to:

  • represent a single voice of academic research in the Arab world
  • make full-text articles openly accessible so they are more visible, more influential and more global
  • provide technical support to editors to help their journals fulfil the qualitative standard requirements of databases such as Scopus
