Academic reputation survey 2012 launched

Higher education institutions to be ranked by researchers and academics.

Thomson Reuters has launched its third global Academic Reputation Survey of higher education institutions.

The survey will ask more than 200,000 academics and researchers about which institutions they consider the best in terms of research, teaching and other factors.  Six broad subject areas will be covered (arts/humanities; clinical/health; engineering and technology; life sciences; physical sciences; social sciences).

The survey is available in nine languages including French, German, Portuguese and Spanish.

The results will include a profile for each institution and will inform Times Higher Education's World University Rankings and Reputation Rankings.
