ALPSP announces journal Awards shortlist

The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) has named the finalists for its 2012 Best New Journal and Publishing Innovation Awards.

The shortlist for Best New Journal

• Cancer Discovery from the American Association for Cancer Research
• Methods in Ecology and Evolution from the British Ecological Society
• Physical Review X from the American Physical Society
• Postmedieval: a journal of medieval cultural studies from palgrave macmillan

The shortlist for Publishing Innovation

• ACP Journalwise from the American College of Physicians
• Peerage of Science web service
• Plantwise Knowledge Bank from CABI

The winners will be announced in September.
