Taxonomy Boot Camp announces the line-up for its 2025 series of Bite-sized half day events

Tickets are available at a reduced rate when you order them for all three dates, 12 March, 18 June and 8 October.

The very popular Bite-sized Taxonomy Boot Camps are back and better than ever in 2025. Remember that even if you can't make the scheduled dates for the live events, you can always view them later since they are recorded and made available to ticket holders.

Registration is open for Bite-sized Taxonomy Boot Camp 2025. You can reserve your seat for the 12 March session here, or book a Passport ticket for the entire 2025 series and save!

In March, we'll hear about "organized chaos" from Amy Funderburk, the 2024 Taxonomy Practitioner of the Year. Joyce van Aalten and Annemieke Hoogland present a case study on embedding a robust taxonomy function at Vilans and Natasha den Dekker adds a second case study on her taxonomy work at Santander. Ontologies are the topic for Fran Alexander, Expedia Group, Canada, and Bob Kasenchak, Factor.

June will see presentations on the relationship between taxonomists and subject matter experts, using faceted taxonomies within SharePoint, healthcare taxonomies, and video game classification.

Looking ahead to October, we intend to take stock of taxonomies and semantics and investigate enterprise taxonomies.

It's shaping up to be a fantastic year for learning about the intricacies of taxonomies, ontologies, and related technologies!
