It’s 2024, do you know what’s new and exciting with taxonomies?

Taxonomy Boot Camp is once again presenting its Bite-sized series, which provides information on new technologies and insights on taxonomy tools in a webinar format.

The first iteration of Bite-sized Taxonomy Boot Camp  will be on 20 March 2024, starting off with a presentation from Fran Alexander, Taxonomist & Information Architect, Expedia Group, Canada. Take a journey with her across the landscape of Large Language Models and Knowledge Graphs as she explores the question of alien versus predator.

Moving on to a different journey, Joyce van Aalten, Taxonomist, Invenier, Netherlands, looks at minimal visible taxonomies and full taxonomies, while Edward Matuskey, Taxonomy Consultant Electronic Arts, USA, takes us to the world of video games and the role of taxonomies in discovering long tail items.

The final session of the Boot Camp features Madi Weland Solomon, Head of Client Solutions & Services, Graphifi, UK, who reviews SKOS (Simple Knowledge Organisation System).

Tickets for Bite-sized Taxonomy Boot Camp can be purchased here.
