Elsevier’s Apps for Science challenge

Elsevier is offering $35,000 in an international competition to develop apps to 'accelerate science'.

Elsevier is encouraging developers to collaborate with researchers to develop apps that will help improve search and discovery, visualise data and stimulate collaboration.

Developers will retain IP rights in their submissions and will be able to gain revenue from the apps.

The challenge is open to residents and organisations in Australia, Germany, India, Japan, Netherlands, UK and the US.
