Knowledge Unlatched has published an infographic showcasing the increasing impact of the OA titles in its collections.
In 2019 the total number of interactions (downloads and views) with its titles grew by 50%. There were over 3 million interactions in total – an average of 1900 per title. The titles were accessed across 200+ countries.
The countries with the highest usage of OA books were the United States (one million interactions), the United Kingdom (220,000 interactions), Germany (150,000 interactions), France (100,000 interactions) and Canada (85,000 interactions).
This usage assessment was based on data collected across several hosting platforms (including OAPEN, JSTOR, and Project MUSE).
