Information Manager of the Year 2019: call for nominations

Judging panel will be looking for innovation, initiative, originality and practicality.


The Information Manager of the year award is given in recognition of an individual who has made a significant contribution to the discipline of knowledge and information management through their work and professionalism by meeting one or more of the following criteria:

  • Demonstrating excellence in the use of knowledge and information management techniques in the workplace
  • Raising awareness of the value and impact of knowledge and information management in the workplace and the wider library and information profession
  • Making a major contribution to the theory and practice of knowledge and information management

The prize is awarded by two CILIP Special Interest Groups:

  • the Knowledge and Information Management Group (K&IM)
  • the UK e-information Group (UKeiG

Nominations should take the form of a short description of how the nominee has excelled, together with full contact details of both the nominee and the nominator.
