Robert Gordon University RGU), based in Aberdeen, has been named as the UK's best university for librarianship and information management. The top ranking in the subject league tables for 2013 was awarded by the Complete University Guide.
The league table uses four measures:
- Student satisfaction
- Research assessment
- Entry standards
- Graduate prospects
Data is taken from the Higher Education Statistics Agency which collects and analyses quantitative information about the performance of universities.
