Yahoo has struck content distribution deals with five leading UK news publishers – The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Independent, The Evening Standard and Hearst UK.
The content will sit in Yahoo's four 'priority verticals' – News; Sports; Finance; Lifestyle.
The content will curated and subject to editorial judgement rather surfaced solely via an algorithm.
Yahoo will run adverts within the articles and videos and publsihers will receive a share of advertsing revenues.
