UK: Pottermore reaches anniversary deal with public libraries

For two weeks libraries will enjoy unfettered digital access the first book in the series.


To celebrate 20 years since its first publication, UK public libraries will not be charged for any - downloads of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone between 26th June and 9th July 2017.

The deal covers all loans made via distribution apps including OverDrive and BorrowBox.

Pottermore is supplying a range of physical and digital marketing material for social media and library spaces (#HarryPotter20).  It has also launched the Wizarding World Book Club.
