Students research needs 'still unmet'

ebrary has announced the initial results of its 2011 global student e-book survey.

Ebrary conducted a similar survey in 2008, and the latest results suggest that students research needs are still not being met.

Students information behaviours are changing, affected by new technologies and mobile information.   They expect seamless, instant information services irrespective of format.  Ebrary concludes that aggregators, librarians and publishers need to work together more effectively to help meet the research and information needs of students.

The full results of the latest research will be presented at the Charleston Conference.  The presentation is also being made available via webinar.
