Spain: Google to open Campus

Google Campus will support innovation in Madrid.


The Google Campus model aims to support entrepreneurship and innvoation through collaboration, mentoring and networking.

The planned launch of a Madrid Google Campus follows on from similar enterprises in London and Tel Aviv. The Google London campus is reported to have helped create 274 start-ups and created over 500 jobs.

The Madrid Campus will offer mentoring and training and provide support to what Google calls "...the thriving entrepreneurial spirit in Spain".  It is scheduled to open in 2015.
