Search: desktop decline and mobile growth

US figures predict decline in desktop search ad revenue.


Figures from eMarketer predict that desktop search spending will drop $1.4 billion in 2014 – a decrease of 9.4% from 2013.

The same figures predict a massive 82.3% in mobile ad spending.  eMarketer predicts that the percentage of Google’s desktop ad revenue will decline for 76.4% in 2013 to just over 66% this year.
