Research information management (RIM) is the aggregation, curation, and utilisation of information about institutional research activities.
RIM practices may include activities such as the collection of an institutional registry of research outputs and impact, faculty activity reporting workflows, and publicly available researcher profiles.
This survey is calling for research institutions and universities to share information about RIM practices, including any institutional efforts to collect a registry or bibliography of local research activity. The researchers are particularly keen to find out more about library activities to support RIM.
