ProQuest, in partnership with the National Library of Scotland, is to create a digitised collection of House of Lords Parliamentary papers. The new project adds to ProQuest’s existing collection of digitised papers from the UK’s House of Commons.
The 19th century papers cover the UK’s social, political, economic and foreign policies and date from a time when the House of Lords wielded considerable political power and influence.
