Poland: Medieval holdings digitised

Wroclaw University Library's medieval holdings digitised.

In Poland, Wroclaw University Library has partnered with IBM to digitise its holdings of medieval European manuscripts, books and maps.

The digitisation work has included maps, music, prints and 1100 medieval manuscripts.  The plans are to make the collection freely available via the web.

The collection includes early works by Miguel de Cervantes, Shakespeare and Martin Luther.
