Open Data Handbook launched

Version 1.0 launched - project calling for volunteer involvement.

The Open Knowledge Foundation has launched version 1.0 of the Open Data Handbook

The Handbook is aimed at a wide audience, with relevant information for researchers, journalists, developers and civil servants.

The Foundation describes the book as an 'organic' project that will be refined and updated following feedback and suggestions.

As the Handbook is being translated into many languages, volunteer translators are also asked to contribute.
