Murder in the library

Crime writer demonstrates support for libraries - with murder.

Crime writer Ann Cleeves has written a script that libraries and book shops can use in murder mystery events.

The author has stated that she wants to thank librarians and booksellers for their support throughout her career.  By offering Blood on the Bannocks freely, she hopes to help organisations that might be struggling with reduced funding to hold outreach events.

This is the second time Cleeves has written a murder mystery for use in libraries.  She was an ambassador for National Libraries Day 2016.
