Italy: OCLC buys IFNET

Service founded 30 years ago by librarians committed to library automation.


Global library cooperative OCLC has bought lFNET, which distributes library automation services and software in Italy.

Founded in 1985 by librarians, IFNET is a leading distributor of software and services to libraries in all sectors and to documentation centres.  It also provides library consultancy, training and cataloguing services.

IFNET staff will join OCLC.
