Google in Europe: the saga continues

EC is ready to act against Google.

The European Commission has formally accused Google of breaching the EU's antitrust rules.

The allegations are that Google has diverted traffic from its rivals to favour its own service offerings, thus stifling competition and harming consumers.

The allegations were included in a Statement of Objections which have been sent to Google.   The Commissioner has also announced a formal investigation into Google's Android services.
