Google enters audiobook market

Google is now selling audiobooks on the Google Play Store.

Google has launched a new audiobook store, offering a subscription-free pay-as-you-go model.

Google is using artificial intelligence to make sense of a book’s table of contents and automatically give chapters the right headlines.

The audiobooks can be bought via the Google Play Books apps and can be played on  Google Home speakers and other compatible devices. The audiobooks are available in 9 languages across 45 countries.
