Europeana's experiments with new technologies aim to help users access multiple resources seamlessly, and to provide interactive cultural experiences.
The Remix source code has also been made available on GitHub, the collaborative code repository for programmers. The film and user contributions are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license.
